George Egglezos

Studies

George Egglezos graduated as a Computer Engineer from the Computer Engineering and Informatics Dept. of the University of Patras and holds a MSc in Computer Networks from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the National University of Athens.

Past activities

At the age of 19 & during the 2nd year of his studies, he joined the PC Support Group of his department where he worked for 1,5 year. Afterwards, he started his first job in Advanced Informatics Ltd, an internet company in Patras. In 2000 and during the 4th year of his studies, he joined ATMEL S.A., a multinational telecommunications company. After his graduation in Patras, he moved back to Athens to obtain his MSc. At the same time he joined Intracom Telecom as a software engineer, where he stayed for 5 years. From 2008 until 2010 he worked as project manager and senior software engineer at iKnowHow S.A.

Current activities

Now, George is founder and head of interTEN, a web development, web hosting & online advertising company, since 2005. Moreover, George is founder of MusicHeaven, one of the largest social music networks & e-magazines in Greece. He is also the owner of several other websites and e-shops.

George has participated in more than 80 web projects including National Bank of Greece, Autospiti.gr, CleanBeaches, Green Tours and more.
