George Kavouris is became involved in the Stop Red-Light Running campaign in April 2004, after surviving two red-light running wrecks caused by careless drivers. Tragically, both crashes occurred less than a year apart and at the same intersection. His outreach efforts on behalf of the campaign include sharing his perspective of the dangers of red-light running throughout his community and acting as the "agitated red-light runner" in a public service announcement on the problem.
