I am a digital transformation entrepreneur and academic with more than 12 years of research and business experience. I have a PostDoc in Mathematical Modeling of Complex Systems, a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, an MSc in Mobile and Satellite Communications and a BSc in Physics.

Through my startup journey I have created digital platforms and helped large corporations implement digital strategies in out dated sectors. I achieved this by thinking out of the box and by successfully leading business and software development teams. My passion is to convert ideas into working products and scalable businesses models by leveraging and improving existing infrastructure and workforce.

I am also an assistant professor at Dept. Electrical & Computer Engineering and the Director of the XReality Research Lab at Texas State University. My mission as an academic is to create impactful research in Augmented Reality, Internet of Things and Wireless Networks.

I am the inventor of 2 US non provisional patents (one pending and one rejected) and I have published 58 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals, books and international conferences that received more than 1140 citations from the international scientific community (h_index=20).

I am always in hunt of new ideas and unexplored paths. I prefer to follow the hard and narrow path because it always guides us to our destination. My life mojo is "protect the vibes" and I love being on the mountains snowboarding and at the beach kiteboarding.
