George Ward

George Ward is a Worshiper at heart and God has prepared him to invest in His people to serve in the Music Ministry as a Music Consultant to churches throughout the country to provide insight and vital teachings on Praise and Worship,

George has a degree in Music Education from Langston University with a strong emphasis in Vocal Performance. He has gained experience as a cast member of Porgy and Bess with The Tulsa Opera company, Various Vocal Competitions, as well as directing several choirs, groups, and ensembles while in college.

While serving as Assistant Minister of Music and Director of Music at Sharon Baptist Church in Phila, PA, he established The Voices of Sharon in 1989, The Praise Team in 1993, Director of the Male Chorus Sr. Mass Choir, and arranging and singing background for major recording artists. George was also instrumental in the development of Worship Leaders, Choir Directors, and Musicians. Also taught Vocal Technique, Choir, Decorum,and Worship Sessions at In Service Ministry Classes.

George Ward Consulting Ministries was established in 1992 to share with other churches and ministries the need to create The Ministries of the Arts concept that emphasises structure based on God's vision for the church flowing through the Pastor of the church. It is most effective when music, audio/video, drama, dance, etc serves as one body with the common goal to worship Jesus with their lives, talents, and function together as a unit. The 3 components are Vocal Stretegies, Ministry Decorum, and Praise and Worship.

Spirit and Truth is a new Christian talk show hosted by Music Ministry Consultant George Ward. The show provides a biblical, musical, and professional perspective on Praise and Worship. Spirit and Truth will focus primarily on Worship: What it is, Who does it, and the Benefits of living a lifestyle of worship before God and man.

Spirit and Truth interviews local and national worshipers who will share their knowledge and experience gained by seeking God and applying His word concerning worship. Topics will include: "Men In Worship", "What Does Your Worship Look Like During The Week", "Prayer: The Language of Worship", and much more!
