George Chijarira

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

As an entrepreneur with a knack for IT support and web development, my days are filled with tech puzzles and digital creations. But when the sun sets, I switch gears to become a guardian for those in need, focusing my energy on making a real difference in people's lives. This dual life of mine is deeply enriched by my role at the helm of George's Run for Autism, a cause that's not just a commitment but a calling, aiming to enlighten and support the autism community.

My journey is backed by solid credentials—I'm ITIL and Microsoft Certified in IT Services Support, and I've also mastered the basics of accounting with a MYOB Certification. But beyond these achievements, it's the simple joys of life that truly define me. I cherish every moment spent with my family and find great satisfaction in my work and the life we've built together.

Graduating with honours in Computer and Information Sciences from Monash University in 2014 was a milestone that marked my academic dedication and set the stage for my professional path. Yet, it's the endless possibilities of technology that continue to ignite my passion, inspiring me to explore, innovate, and dream of what the future holds.

My competitive nature and creative mindset drive me to excel in application development, web designing, video editing, and more. I'm always on the lookout for the next challenge, eager to push the envelope and bring new ideas to life.

But at the heart of it all is passion. It's the fuel for my aspirations, the spark that lights my way. Through George's Run for Autism, this passion finds a purpose beyond the digital realm—it becomes a beacon of hope and awareness, reflecting my dedication to making a meaningful impact in the world and in the lives of individuals and families navigating autism.
