George J. Kopsias

A graduate of DePaul University, George J. Kopsias balances a career as an accountant and financial consultant with a commitment to his Chicago-area community. A member of the Saints Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church in Glenview, he stands out as an active parishioner who takes part in community ministry programs. George J. Kopsias also gives back through his support of local charity events, and he coordinates an annual charity golf outing in honor of a friend who passed away in 2015.

Professionally, George Kopsias draws upon more than 25 years of diverse financial experience in his role as a senior accountant with Snowhite Hospitality in Bloomingdale, where he handles year-end audit duties while spearheading a project designed to reconcile the company’s hotel activities over the past two years. Previously, Mr. Kopsias led similar projects for clients such as Starwood Retail Partners and the University of Chicago.

Prior to his work as an accountant, George J. Kopsias spent five years as a mortgage consultant with Chicago-based Lakeside Bank, a position in which he collaborated with high-net-worth individuals to obtain mortgages that coincided with their long-term investment goals. He began his career as an options arbitrage clerk for a range of trading groups on the floors of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade.
