Dr. George Magklaras is an Information Security Researcher and currently works as Head of IT at the University of Oslo in Norway, where he specializes in Linux and High Performance Computing Systems Administration. He co-founded Steelcyber Scientific, a Consultancy Firm specializing in Digital Forensics and Information Assurance and he is the main author of LUARM, a forensically capable logging/audit engine. Dr. Magklaras has pioneered research methods in the field of Insider Threat Mitigation in IT infrastructures. He lectures and consults on Digital Forensics, Bioinformatics, High Performance Computing and Information Assurance.
