George Moukazis
Lawyer, Writer, and Thinker in Athens, Greece
Yesterday was for mere power.
Today is for human rights.
Tomorrow will be for global justice.
Having graduated from the Law School of Athens with a
Bachelor degree in Law and a Master degree
in Philosophy of Law and currently being a human rights student
in Åbo Akademi in Finland, I feel myself passionate with
thorough and synthetic ways of thought. If I had to classify myself,
as we like doing nowadays, as we always liked doing, I would place
myself within them trying to offer the best ethical and legal
justifications to the idea of Human Rights. For everyone, everywhere.
And after the just cause for action, the action itself must follow.
Experienced in the real world of advocacy, as a trainee, at first,
and full member, now, of Athens Bar Association I want to work
in the field of International human rights protection.
And something more to be reminded.
States are the will of peoples.
States have the duty and the real power to protect and promote
Human Rights.
