I'm a journalist, which means I try to tell people things they don't know.
Right now I work for the Syracuse Media Group as a Web/Mobile Producer at Syracuse.com. Before that, I worked as a Page Producer putting together the sports section of The Post-Standard newspaper.
People used to call me a reporter, an editor, a page designer or (on the side) a photographer. In more recent times, people have said that I produce content, aggregate, curate, blog, optimize for search engines, reach audiences via social media and produce digital images.
Whatever. The terms have changed as the tools have changed. I love technology, but the heart of what I do is still exactly the same: Tell people things they don't know.
