George Papamitrou

George Papamitrou has worked with Lowell, Massachusetts-based Macom since 2016, and initially served as its director of sales enablement. After two years with the firm, George Papamitrou became the director of information technology business services, where he reports to the chief information officer.
Since taking on the role, he has created a resource center in India, alongside introducing a robotics automation process. With the latter of these moves, Mr. Papamitrou reduced the number of repetitive, non-value-added tasks performed by employees. He has also overseen the deployment of a service desk for customer-related issues.
In the position, George Papamitrou draws on over two decades of managerial experience. He also utilizes skills honed during his time at Worcester State University. He graduated from Worcester in 1992 with a bachelor of science in computer science.
During his career, Mr. Papamitrou has attended the Salesforce World Tour and SAP Analytics Cloud events. An off-road motorcyclist, he also enjoys competing in amateur auto racing events.
