Welcome to my page! I am an eight year veteran educator and newly minted journalist. I love to tell stories and I love teaching, so I thought, why not combine the two loves and make a career out of it!

I currently live and work in the Duval County Public School System in Jacksonville, Florida. I have taught Kindergarten and Second grade during this time. I have also created and manage a website called T.A.P.I.O.N which you can visit at this link: www.tapionsmg.com.

As a graduate of Duval County's Alternative Certification program, I have acquired the skills and knowledge necessary to be certified to teach Kindergarten to 6th grade through the Florida Department of Education. As a future graduate of Full Sail University's New Media Journalism Master of Arts program, I am developing the skills necessary to curate, generate, prepare, present and publish dynamic news stories with rich multimedia content across digital platforms.
