George Simkins spent more than 15 years in commercial film production, and from 1996-2002 he produced and managed more than 100 national commercials and television programs. He is a founding member of Pour Boys Productions, and directed or produced shows that eanred the company a host of acting and directing awards between 1996 and 2000.

At Vis-a-vis Creative, he manages the day-to-day operations of the company, oversees production, and shapes the overall company direction.

George is an avid sailor, with thousands of offshore and blue-water miles to his credit. As a trimmer, driver and tactician, he has contributed to victories in Southern Lake Michigan regattas, and has competed in 11 Chicago-to-Mackinac races.

He graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Cinema, with an emphasis on American genres.
