Georges Marciano

Georges Marciano is the esteemed creator, designer, and former part-owner of Guess, the brand that reintroduced and redefined the role of jeans in high fashion. A native of Marseille, France, Georges was a pioneering creative force in the American high fashion industry, and he is no stranger to intertwining different cultures and finding common ground through fashion and through self-expression.

In 1993 Georges stepped down from his involvement with Guess. He now focuses on building a new fashion business; he balances this with his ongoing hobby of collecting art.
