George Theophanous

I am a Software Engineering Co-op student at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

What does it mean to be Co-op?

The Co-op program at University Concordia is a program based on acquiring real workplace skills while pursuing one's continued education. A Co-op student is tasked with upholding certain academic standards, and finding a payed internship for 3 seperate work terms.

Why Co-op?

The Co-op program provides a framework to students to smoothly transition into the work force. Furthermore, upon completing their degrees, Co-op students not only have work experience, and the know how to find jobs and to excel in them, but they also boast an expanded network, and the drive to continue succeeding, passed on from the program itself which is built to help students thrive.

Co-op: hungry for work and full of drive!

Work

As the internship is linked to my field of study, I am searching for a work term in software development for the fall 2015 term, the summer 1016 term, and the winter 2017 term.
