George Wilson

Residential Real Estate Broker & Co-Owner of Raleigh Cary Realty in Raleigh, NC. Here to keep up with old, current & new friends & family. Oh yeah, & if anyone needs to buy or sell home in the Triangle area I will be happy to help:-) I am currently Broker in Charge and owner of Raleigh Cary Realty and I manage the the George Wilson Team in residential real estate. I am making sure I take the time to enjoy my two young sons & wife while still maintaining balance between helping others in Real Estate and enjoying life. My family and I live in the Raleigh, NC area (wife Amy, two sons Blake and Austin). My full name is George Michael Wilson and I grew up being called Mike or Michael, Wilson in the Army (among other things :-) and George in North Carolina (its a boring story, too many Mikes). Grew up in in Henderson, KY most of my life but also lived in Ft. Branch, IN. I went to the University of Kentucky out of high school and I worked a semester at Walt Disney World in the Fall of 1989 before joining the Army. I joined the Army from 1990 until 1993 to learn discipline, grow up & pay for college (2 out of 3 aint bad :-). I have the utmost respect for those who have served and currently serve our country. While in the Army I was stationed in South Korea for a year and then Little Rock, Arkansas until I returned back to the University of Kentucky in June of 1993. After a couple of years back at UK I moved to Raleigh, NC in 1995 where I began working as a Sales Consultant for Saturn until I got in state tuition. Ended up doing pretty good and forgot about school for a while. I met my wife, Amy at Saturn of Raleigh when I sold her a car! We were married in April of 2000. We had Blake April of 2005 and Austin on December of 2007. I returned to college and graduated at North Carolina Central in 2002 with a B.A. in History to teach. After teaching briefly, I began my career in real estate in August of 2004. Another field I have the utmost respect for. In fact I want to thank most of our public servants especially the police & firefighters! I have helped a lot of people buy and sell homes pretty quickly and have been very successful in consulting people along the way ( over 200 now)! It helps that I love it, do it for the right reasons, always strive to have balance in my life and remind myself to empathize with the people I am helping and their needs.
