My name is Georgi and I am a chef.

I came across culinary at the age of sixteen. Back then I started working at a little street pizza place. Soon I found out that making pizza is not only something I enjoy, but also something I am good at. At this time cooking pulled me out of a though period in my life and started modifying my personality in a new way.
This is how I got the spark for culinary art and I’ve been cooking professionally since the age of 18 - over 13 years now.

I gathered experience in various culinary fields. My most solid background, however, is in the vegetarian cuisine. In my opinion cooking delicious vegetarian meals is a challenge itself which takes a lot of imagination, skills and diverse knowledge.

That doesn't mean I have quit cooking meat. I could be very inventive when it comes to meat but its origin is of crucial importance to me.
I also have experience as a pastry chef - I am bold and creative when making desserts.

I do believe that for the sake of next generations and their better future we must develop certain conscience of sustainability about eating i.e. we have to mostly use products from our regions – grown naturally, with love, attention and the necessary knowledge.

Another fundamental principle of mine is to cook in such way that no food waste is left. This concerns the quality and quantity of food, but also the way it is prepared.

Currently I am a chef at “STOLOVA” (part of RooBrands) – a place where we cook without using any animal products.

Additionally, I do:

Catering for different formal or informal events.

Home dinners – evenings with tasty food in a homely atmosphere with hosts (my family) and different guests we haven't met before. Up to this point these events were mostly aimed at foreign visitors in Sofia wishing to know more about the local culture and cuisine. We are about to offer such home dinners to locals, too.

Rent a Chef – In case you have an event to host (birthday party, anniversary, wedding, etc.) or you want to impress your partners and friends with a home-made dinner, you can invite me to cook for you or together with you.

Consulting on developing a restaurant or any other type of eating place.

Providing cooking classes.
