Georgi is well knowned Bulgarian wine judge. He is Certified Sommelier from Court of Master Sommeliers and holds the tittle Best Sommelier of Bulgaria 2011.

His professional experience as Sommelier has taken him to Europe, Middle East and Asia. Presently he consults restaurants, wineries and appears weekly on Cooking TV Show Bon Apeti.

As International wine judging he's been at Decanter, MundusVini, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, Emozioni dal Mondo, Finger Lakes, Les Citadelle du Vine.

He created the brand "Someno" in 2011, specialized in premium boutique wines, made from local Bulgarian grapes. In 2014 Someno Buket Borovitza 2011 was the first ever Bulgarian red wine made of local grape variety rated with 90 points from Robert's Parker Wine Advocate. In 2015 Someno Rikat Bororvitza 2012 was the first ever Bulgarian white wine rated with 90 points from Wine Advocate.
