Georgia Jamieson Emms

Georgia Jamieson Emms was born in Wellington, New Zealand and studied at the New Zealand School of Music (formerly Victoria University). She sang in the New Zealand National Youth Choir, wrote a weekly column for Salient, the Victoria Students' magazine, and went on to become a freelance musician, director and journalist. Jamieson Emms worked for several years as an opera singer and language specialist in Germany and returned to live in New Zealand in 2013 where she continues to sing, perform, write, present and teach.
