Hi, I'm Georgia.

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Communications and Journalism at Deakin University.

I have just a year left of my studies but what an experience it has been so far.

At the moment I am interning at The Geelong Football Club, working alongside the media and communications departments at the worlds oldest sporting team and the AFL's largest club.

I have also taken on a public relations internship for a mental health festival, 'Art of the Minds,' which is just as rewarding as it is challenging.

In the little downtime that I have, I work in hospitality to fund my love of travel. In the past two years, I have travelled to over nine countries with the tally about to increase as I prepare to jet off to Europe.

While my travels thus far have mostly entailed seeking new experiences and pushing myself with treks, I have completed some volunteering in Sri Lanka, which has been my favourite place to visit to date.

Upon graduating in 2020, I am hoping to gain a career in journalism.
