Cella (aka Marcella Nelson) has worked in the field of marketing & media research for over 20 years with an emphasis in creating insights for media companies such as Atlanta based, Turner Broadcasting, CBS Radio in Los Angeles, and Nielsen Online in London, England.

She specializes in transforming data into meaningful insights. She is very well versed in analyzing audience research, market trends, competitive data, sales, web analytics & product usage data, and shaping that information into insightful, creative, and informative reports & sales presentations.

Cella freelances under her company called BedfordResearch which is named after the city of her birth, Bedford, England.

EXTRACURRICULAR

Cella is passionate about horses and their welfare. She currently serves as a Volunteer Coordinator and Webmaster for SavetheHorses, a non-profit horse rescue based in Cumming, GA and is an advocate for the rescue and rehabilitation of horses that are abandoned, abused and/or neglected.

She is also an equestrian rider, trained in the English Hunter/Jumper riding discipline. Through her passion for all things equine, she founded the Meetup group called Georgia Horseback Riding. The group comprises of equestrian enthusiasts that participate in activities such as trail riding, group riding lessons, clinics, watching competitions, and volunteering at rescue farms.

She has also authored two blogs that celebrate forgotten African American horsemen and women called: Black Female Equestrians and Black Male Equestrians.
