Born in Limassol, Cyprus, Georgia Komboustarted her life in music at the age of nine when she began piano and theory lessons at the Greek Conservatory of Limassol. Her artistic flair and love of music became even more apparent when during elementary school she began to develop her interest in poetry.
While still a small child, her father noticed her great interest in musical instruments – she used to hold a sewing needle and a matchstick pretending to play the mandolin – and offered her a bouzouki. Georgia then began to appear on many television and radio broadcasts showing her talent.

1982-83: Third Prize in the Art Competition for schools in Europe.
1981:After the encouragement given by the musician AchilleasKaminaras, she began takingbouzouki lessonsfromthe renowned bouzouki teacher Mr Costas Sofianos.
1990: She left for Thessaloniki to study advanced music theory (harmony and band direction).
1995: Upon her return to Cyprus, she joined the Aris Choir of Limassol, the group of Cypriot Serenades and Limassol Serenades, participating in many performances both in Cyprus and abroad. She also participated in various events organised by the Municipality of Limassol.
1996: She participated in the Choral Festival in Cephaloniaalong with the group of Cypriot Serenadeswhere she played the mandolin and won widespread praise for her outstanding performance. The conductor of the Athenian Mandolinata Orchestra, DionysisApostolatos, captivated by her performance, proposed her to become a member of the Athenian Mandolinata Orchestra.
1996: She participatedin the Choral Festival of Pefkialong with the group of Cypriot Serenades upon DionysisApostolatou’sinvitation.
1998: She participated in the Choral Festival of Thebes in special tribute to YiannisSpanos.
2009: The death of her mother was a source of inspiration for the first song she wrote entitled “The Ballade of Longing”, performing it at a special event accompanied with a choral ensemble and an orchestra. Her songs became the occasion to meet ThanasisPolykandriotis and YerasimosAndreatos, who both judged her songs in a coherent, consistent and unique way.
2010: She participated along with the Limassol Literary Society in a concert held at the Ancient Theatre of Kourion by VassilisLekkas.
2010: She participated in the street renaming ceremonyin honour of MariosTokas where she performed her songs along with three bouzouki players.
