I believe life is a mystery, and it is better to try to fill our lives with meaningful things than to understand it. Let us live so that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry. Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. A ship is safe in harbor, but that's not what ships are for. If we listened to our intellect we'd never have a love affair. We'd never have a friendship. We'd never go in business because we'd be cynical: "It's gonna go wrong." Or "She's going to hurt me." Or,"I've had a couple of bad love affairs, so therefore..." Well, that's nonsense. You're going to miss life. You've got to jump off the cliff all the time and build your wings on the way down. Stay hungry. Stay foolish. Ask no guarantees, ask for no security, there never was such an animal. Keep sense of humor.
I believe in dreams coming true if you have them and if you work hard enough for it to happen. I believe happiness to be a default state for a person. I believe in absolute love and happiness whatever it may be. And I know life is a game of inches, and the inches you need to change you and whole world are everywhere around. No one made for defeat. Act with joy. Practice truth. Fear nothing.
