Geovanna Reyes

I’m a Computer Systems Engineer, educator, and data nerd who works at the intersection of technology, education, and innovation. I like figuring out how things work, making complicated things simpler, and finding better ways to do things.

I already have a Master’s in Education, Technology and Innovation, and I’m currently adding a Master’s in Business Intelligence and Data Science to the collection, because apparently I enjoy voluntarily adding statistics, dashboards, and questionable amounts of coffee to my life. Or, as I like to think of it, I looked at my free time and thought, “you know what this needs?”

When I’m not working or studying, you’ll probably find me reading a book, baking something with an unreasonable amount of butter, working on a craft project, or telling the internet what I thought about my latest read. I also talk about books online, because apparently reading them wasn’t enough.

I also live with nine cats (Mia, Toby, Suri, Nala, Luke, Leia, Noche, Negrita, and Watson) who generously allow me to pay the bills, provide snacks, and believe I am occasionally in charge.

Curious by nature, mildly obsessed with making things better, and always learning something new. Still convinced there’s probably a better way to do it. Frequently caffeinated. Occasionally in charge.
