Global Citizen

A former New York taxi driver and Navy SEAL, I’m a graduate of Queens College, and of the University of Texas, Austin, the holder of Certificates in German Socio-economics from The Goethe Institute in Germany and in Comparative Constitutional Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, an Associate Fellow at Oxford University, a Professor of International Maritime Law at Ruppin College, and a member of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (PCCI) Graduate Business Schools consortia for the globalization of technology development. I’m also the subject of a popular Harvard Business School case study on entrepreneurship (The Jerry Sanders Case), which is taught at the graduate business schools of Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Virginia, Kellogg, Cornell, UCLA, UC Irvine and MIT.

I am a member of the New York and California Bar Associations, the founder of San Francisco Science™, a storied technology company, and the co-founder of The Triana Group™, a French American technology incubator.

As Chairman and CEO of SkyTran Inc. – an elevated, high-speed, low-cost, private rapid transportation system that is a NASA Space Act company – I get to play the part of mad-scientist and game-changing innovator. SkyTran is building its first systems in Israel and India.

Until recently I served as the US State Department accredited Honorary Consul for The Republic of Haiti. In that capacity I was instrumental in California’s Haitian earthquake relief efforts.
