Gerald Chaves

For Gerald Chaves, life has been a fantastic journey: born and raised in Brazil, he grew up in a farm with chickens, cows, plantations, beautififul nature and freedom to explore it all. He attended board school and was exposed, at an early age, to great music, literary classics, and learned three languages by the age of fifteen. He studied at PUC University in Belo Horizonte, was student at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany, and Columbia University in New York City. He fell in love with the United States and made the US his Home. He settled down in Los Angeles, California, where he raised his family. The US gave him the opportunity to study further, work, travel, develop his business, fail, and raise again. He is extremely proud and grateful to be American. He has learned from so many people, encountered great business partners, and is specially thankful to his family, his friends and associates, who brought meaning to his life. From the many probed areas of activity, he settled for Engineering. And in Electrical Engineering he found his passion!
