Most of my work revolves around the question, how people use technology to communicate and interact, in particular in how the Internet is used for political and social communication. During the past years, I have concentrated on how open, social and mobile technologies, impact on development in Africa and Asia.

I aim to connect people and ideas and raise awareness for the role ICTs are playing in the creation of independant media landscapes, as well as for social and economic development. I have been lucky to work with a number of engaged activits, citizen journalists and entrepreneur and hope to support their efforts with what I do.
