Recently, I made a bold decision - to leave the company that I have worked for for 3 years. It was the best company I have worked for but things have changed and I have changed..it hit me long ago that I am most suited to be my own boss, an entrepreneur...Why? Because I am hardworking, highly disciplined, believes in ethics, have no qualms of working independently...and most of all, I don't enjoy taking orders! :) Therefore, once I saw that the corporate world is not my cup of tea, I closed that door and started looking for an opened window. The window wasn't too apparent in the beginning. To earn a little money, I decided I would take my 'hobby' to the next level. I will dabble in making some accessories like earrings, bracelets, necklace and start selling them online. This is the birth of Terrific Gem. My fan page has been set up and production begun. This will continually be a work in progress as I get new ideas daily! I truly enjoy being in my workshop, surrounded by crystals, wires and colourful beads. Then, as fate would have it, I came across and enrolled into a Social Media Marketing Program with one of the top Internet gurus in Malaysia. Making the payment for the Program was tough, but totally worth it. I am now embarking on a new journey in life, my next chapter. I will achieve my aspiration of becoming an entrepreneur! Social Media Marketing will soon be my forte. This is one of the most challenging jobs I have taken so far. Ask any of my former colleagues, they can tell you that my IT and selling skills are zero! But, I am exceptional in managing clients and their demands. Very talented when it comes to organizational skills. So I will take on the new challenge and I know I will rise....Surge Social Media Marketing was born! With praise to God and feet on the ground, I plan to reach for the skies! I can, therefore I will.
