Gerald Thermos

A longtime resident of the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area, Gerald Thermos presently lends his expertise to Specguard Systems Inc., a Wilmington, California, company that produces coatings for the construction and maintenance industries. Thermos has lived in the area since he attended California State University more than three decades ago. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from the institution, he enrolled at Pepperdine University's George L. Graziadio School of Business and Management. Gerald Thermos completed his Master of Business Administration from the Malibu, California, school, developing the business skills and savvy that have guided him through his career.

Thermos launched his career as the Vice President of the Foam and Glass Company, marking the beginning of his tenure in the construction materials industry. In this position, he managed the formulation and production of urethane chemical systems, composite signage, and foam insulation board stock. Gerald Thermos then joined THR Corporation and served as its President for 20 years. Focusing on polyurethane and polyurea materials, the company manufactures a variety of specialty coating products including spray on truck bed liners. In 2004, Gerald Thermos became the President of a construction coatings company. After five years in this position, he accepted his current role at Specguard Systems, Inc. In this capacity, he incorporates nearly 30 years of experience to produce high-quality coating systems for roofing, flooring, and marine uses.

In his free time, Gerald Thermos spends a significant amount of time outdoors, enjoying Southern California's scenic beaches and ocean swells. An avid surfer, he first took up the sport in the late 1970s, and has traveled around the world to catch waves and experience other cultures.
