• In 1983 he obtained a grant from the French gouvernement to conduct post graduate research in L´École Normal de Musique de Paris and the Conservatory du Centre de Paris under the guidance of Jacques Castérède .

• He also participated in several seminars with key European musicians such as Iannis Xenakis, Pierre Boulez, Katori Makino, Marcel Bitch, among others.
• At the end of his studies, composer Pierre Petit awarded him two honorable mentions: the first in composition for his works “Catharsis” for solo piano and “Esquisse” for orchestra. The second in musical analysis for his exposition on “Preludes” for piano by Olivier Messiaen.
• Since his return he has devoted much of his time and professional experience to helping train countless generations of young musicians first at the Center of Musical Education and then as the Director of the Conservatory “Las Rosas” .
• In1994 he founded the “Collegium Musicum”. He is until now the Director of this private institution that makes possible the humanistic enlightenment of young people through musical art.
• In 2012-13 he signed a contract as a composer in residence with the choral organization “Vocal Essence”, so he creates choral music for several elementary schools choirs in Minneapolis and St. Paul Minnesota.
