Gerardo Calderón es Ingeniero Químico colegiado, Project Manager certificado PMP® y auditor de sistemas de gestión ISO con más de 15 años de experiencia liderando proyectos de alta complejidad en los sectores de energía, manufactura e infraestructura industrial en América Latina.

Dirigió la implementación del primer Sistema de Gestión de la Energía certificado bajo ISO 50001 en el sector público de Costa Rica — ejecutado durante la pandemia, con resistencia institucional significativa, y con ahorros energéticos medibles que continúan generando valor hasta hoy. Ha gestionado portafolios CAPEX multimillonarios, liderado equipos multidisciplinarios en organizaciones públicas y privadas, e implementado certificaciones ISO .

Cuenta con certificaciones en Gestión de Proyectos (PMP®), OKR Master Professional (OKRMPC™ · OKRCPC™) y Scrum, y está actualmente calificado como candidato a evaluador bajo ECA para ISO/IEC 17025:2017 y como auditor de tercera parte bajo ICONTEC para ISO 50001:2018.

Es fundador de Sinexus Legal & Projects, consultora con base en Costa Rica especializada en auditorías ISO, consultoría de proyectos y asesoría regulatoria para clientes industriales en Centroamérica y LATAM.

Gerardo Calderón is a Chemical Engineer, PMP®-certified Project Manager, and ISO management systems auditor with 15+ years of experience delivering high-stakes projects in energy, manufacturing, and industrial infrastructure across Latin America.

He led the implementation of Costa Rica's first ISO 50001-certified Energy Management System in the public sector — executed during the pandemic, under institutional resistance, and with measurable energy savings that continue generating value today. He has managed multimillion-dollar CAPEX portfolios, led multidisciplinary teams across public and private organizations, and driven ISO certifications under ICONTEC and ECA schemes.

Gerardo holds certifications in Project Management (PMP®), OKR Master Professional (OKRMPC™ · OKRCPC™), and Scrum, and is currently qualified as an evaluator candidate under ECA for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and as a third-party auditor under ICONTEC for ISO 50001:2018.

He is the founder of Sinexus Legal & Projects, a Costa Rica-based consultancy offering ISO auditing, project consulting, and regulatory advisory services to industrial and infrastructure clients in Central America and LATAM.
