Gerardo Santos

I grew up in San Mateo / Foster City, California; Guatemala City, Guatemala; Caracas, Venezuela; and Santiago, Chile. Completed High School in Chile and attended Agro-Industrial Administration at Instituto Profesional de Santiago in Chile. Also, attended California State University, Fresno and earned a B.S. in Agricultural Business. My major agricultural background experience includes marketing, inspection, buying, and sales of fresh fruits and vegetables from California, Mexico, and Chile, for markets in United States, Canada, Mexico, and Asia. I’ve worked in the produce industry for over 19 years. Back again to CSU, Fresno for latest education has made me a Teacher with a Single Subject Agriculture Credential and an Agriculture Specialist Credential. Also, I include a Single Subject Foreign Language: SPANISH. Taught at High Schools in Modesto, Calexico, Palmdale, and Hawthorne. Avid Swimmer, Road Cyclist, and Alpine Skiing. Visited throughout Europe, North America, Central America, and South America.
