I am a Consultant Cardiologist / Professor at the Division of Adult Congenital and Valvular Heart Disease, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine University Hospital Münster, Germany and a Visiting Professor at the National Heart and Lung Institute London.

I trained in Medicine at Munich Medical School, obtained my PhD in Cardiology from Imperial College, London 2009 and hold a Master in Health Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) as well as an executive MBA in Business Management from the Centre for Accounting and Controlling at Münster University.

Together with my colleagues at Münster University, Imperial College / Royal Brompton Hospital London and the German National Registry on Congenital Heart Disease Berlin I study the impact of past and current therapies on quality of life and outcome in congenital heart disease. We use large datasets and novel analytic methods to gain insight and improve the treatment of patients with congenital heart disease.
