Hall of Famer Germany Kent is a bestselling and multiple award-winning author, media pundit, celebrity journalist, producer, activist and philanthropist.

The media maven has become a voice for digital branding and is an advocate for youth empowerment and is a prominent anti-bullying/cyberbulling activist.

Kent uses her campaign 'You Are What You Tweet', which shares the same name of her 10th multiple award-winning book, to educate people about online etiquette, branding and digital marketing. In 2015 she was named one of the Top 100 individuals and brands in social media marketing.

In May 2017, Kent was selected by Soledad O’Brien as a panelist for the national PowHERful Conference to speak to youth about branding.

Kent's work has garnered national and international media and she has appeared across all mediums (TV, radio, print, online) and has been profiled as a national authority featured and interviewed in Fast Company, Bloomberg Business, The Examiner, Inc. Magazine, Hartford Business, Herald Tribune, Yahoo News, and countless others. Guest appearances on radio and TV include: NPR, Money Matters Radio, iHeart Radio, the CW, CBS, Blog Talk Radio, NBC, ABC and FOX news.

Kent is also a multitalented SAG-AFTRA actress and model who has achieved commercial and print success appearing in ads for TARGET, NIKE, VERIZON, DOVE, COORSLIGHT and AT&T. She most recently was seen in commercials for CARRIER and eHARMONY. Kent has loaned her voice to DISNEY, and has been cast in multiple commercials and TV spots for the company, including one for the Disney Aulani Resort in Hawaii.

As a multimedia producer, reporter and writer, Kent has experience in front of and behind the camera. As an accomplished journalist, host and celebrity interviewer, Kent has interviewed such notables as Maria Shriver, Debbie Allen, Vanessa Williams, Gloria Allred, Cathy Hughes, Jon Voight, Alan Thicke, Joe Morton, and Nigel Lythgoe, just to name a few.

Kent earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Mississippi State University. In 2015, the university recognized Kent for her contributions to social media and for her literary work. Kent earned a Master of Arts degree at the University of Alabama. In December 2017, UA recognized Kent as one of its distinguished alumni.

Kent is a recipient of the coveted Global Philanthropy Award from Empower Magazine and has received countless other awards for her humanitarian efforts.
