Deangelo Garrett

Hello, My name is DeAngelo Garrett. I am 17 years of age. I work for Sunset Youth Services' youth-led recording project, Upstar Records. My role is a team leader. I engineer, track, record, and produce in the studio at Sunset Youth Services. My favorite thing to do in the studio is to make beats, rap, and mix songs. I am predominantly a Hip-Hop artist and producer but as for my long term goals I would like to make beats for R&B artists similar to Ne-Yo and Chris Brown and artists as such. When I am not doing music I like to dance and find other ways to entertain, but I mainly just like hanging out with my friends. My motivation to being successful is my fear of failing. Scariest thing in the world to me is failing. When I look in the mirror I just see a small guy in a large world. Just what I am.
