Gerrit Coetzee

Born 19 August 1987 and spent most of my childhood years in Centurion & Pretoria. Attended High School at HTS John Vorster and matriculated 2005.

I Studied Graphics Design, Web Design, Web Development and Software Development after High School graduating 2008 with (CIW)Certified Internet Webmaster and 2009 as an (MCP)Microsoft Certified Professional, (MCAD) Microsoft Certified Applications Developer and (MCSD)Microsoft Certified Solution Developer. My passion for .NET development surpass open source languages, but skilled equally.

During my studies I was employed by my College in 2008 for roughly 2 years as a lecturer. My passion for programming grew exponentially when I was employed as a lecturer.

Currently I’m a developer at a company situated near Menlyn Mall. I will be starting my BSc Degree in Information Systems in the 2 semester at UNISA and will also do my upgrade qualifications for Microsoft, it’s going to be a very busy 2011.

Most of my skills were acquired through self studying and research. The best programmers & developers are the ones that are up to date, and DON’T FORGET (TTD) Test Driven Development & SOLID Principles!!
