Gerardo Sanchez-Romero

San Francisco

New media and society researcher, and consultant in social development topics. I enjoy collaborating on initiatives that combine rigorous research and innovative thinking to solve social problems. In my work, I try to combine the clarity and precision of quantitative methods with the depth and human insights of cultural analysis.

I’ve teamed up with exceptional researchers and practitioners in fields of education, public health, human rights, technology and development. I've provided expertise to projects in academia, NGOs, foundations, and governments, in Scandinavia, California, and Mexico.

I’m building a new consulting firm specialized on design, training, and evaluation of social interventions conducted by civil society and governments in Latin America. I seek to bring together a diverse group of talented young social scientist, planners, new media and data experts to offer innovative and strategic solutions.
