MUSIC

Like Many Detroiters, Gessica established her musical roots in the church and Singing in the choir from grade school on up until graduating highschool. She was inspired by many local talents, such as the Winans, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, and other artists like Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Mary J. Blige. Gessica has lead worship as well as sung with the Soul Central Live band as the lead female singer. Gessica has he had the opportunity to work with local producers as well as producers from Chicago and New York and singing background for other artist. In 2014 Jessica was picked out of the crowd to sing at the Bilal and Chrisette Michele concert in Harlem in the front of a crowd of Thousands. While she was there she also had the opportunity to do a one-man show tribute to Motown and more recently she had the opportunity to sing the national anthem at the Detroit Pistons game 2026. Being able to attend the Grammys in 2024 inspired Gessica to continue on her path of growing as a musical artist.

FASHION

Another side of Gessica is Fashion where she studied fashion design in college and was able to leave Detroit and move to New York and intern at Jay-Z's Apparel company Rocawear and ultimately landing a denim Designer position at 8732 Young Jeezys clothing line owned by Rocawear.

Gessica's first Designer role opened up the door for her to design at other brands such as Ralph for polo and Exko Unlimited as well as other household brands. Learning to Sew at the age of eight years old from her godmother Isha, Gessica still actively works behind the scenes with costume, design, and wardrobe when called upon and has dreams of launching a brand of our own one day.

ACTING

Aside from music Gessica also has a background in film where she has acted in several films and performed in theater, displaying her acting and musical talents.

Aside from being talented in music acting and Fashion Jessica is heavily inspired by God and using her spiritual gift of song to uplift others in worship. She prioritizes her family and being a mother and enjoy spending time with loved ones. Her main mission in life is to make an impact on everyone around her, sharing Gods love and inspiring others to live in their purpose and share their gifts.. She also seeks to inspire single mothers in Detroit and all over that anything is possible with the right support system and relentless approach at never giving up as well as keeping God first.

Overcoming many challenges has only added to her testimony and given her the strength and fortitude to keep going!
