Getachew Tadesse

I was born and raised in Ethiopia. I came to the US to study my PhD at the University of California.

I used cross-disciplinary ecological knowledge to explore socio-ecological systems involving biodiversity, ecosystem services, human-environment interactions for my dissertation. My broad research interests involve applying the theoretical foundations in community and landscape ecology as well as conservation practices to promote biodiversity conservation and ecosystem services that also support sustainable food production.
