I removed the rugs from the wood floor areas in my bedroom and from the tile flooring in the kitchen to give a more traditional look; potential homebuyers don’t need to trip over rugs that detract from the beauty of wood or tile flooring. I have a burn on my carpet caused by a spark from the fireplace that I’ll need to get repaired before my home improvement project is finished but I feel sure that the work can be done within my budget. My trusted realtor found it and drew my attention to the damaged area; I didn’t even know that it was there.
