David Wells, A self-confessed serial entrepreneur David has been successfully building, developing and investing in businesses over the last 40 years.

Founding Director of Jada Industries Pty Ltd , leading textile printing and manufacturing company in WA in the 80’s.

After developing a small successful Industry Publishing business which he on sold in 1988 David formed his thrid compay Wells and Associates commanding a position in the top 5% Nationally as a Managing Agent for the New Enterprise Scheme during the 90’s. During this tme he established a consultancy called AuzSg a spin off business of his flag ship company Millpark Corporation Pty Ltd commercialising IP and Technology and facilitating private equity funding within the Venture Capital community in the 2000’s.

David is Co-founder of a new company GetFunding Pty Ltd a crowd sourcing platform for start-up businesses and University Research projects and founder of the Tasmanian Dragons’ Nest, a select group of sophisticated entrepreneurs and investors committed to assisting start-ups and small business and driving the economic recovery from within the ranks of Industry.

David’s fields of experience, expertise and networks are;

Marketing, Market Intelligence analyst, Project Management, business strategy and strategic planning, business planning, management , Agri business and Innovation and Process development.

David is an advocate of “Lean Management “ principles and innovation through communication and managed risk.

David is also a Nationally accredited Business Coach and has a post graduate certificate Business and a Masters in Business though the University of Tasmania.
