Geoff is a veteran marketing executive, brand strategist and entrepreneur. A recipient of numerous industry awards, a frequent speaker and a regular adviser to businesses and non-profits, Geoff is a considered a premier thought-leader in the industry and a fierce advocate of the power of media and technology in business and society overall.
Geoff is currently Co-Founder & CEO of Preference Labs, a content marketing platform that is out to fix the Internet. He is also a Partner and Owner of Mediatavern (www.mediatavern.com), a marketing and entertainment studio and accelerator. Mediatavern’s clients include Nintendo, United HealthCare, and Yahoo! among others. He serves as an Advisor to the Global Change Network (www.theglobalchangenetwork.com) and Palindrome Advisors (www.palindromeadvisors.org).
Prior to his current roles, he worked as Managing Director of Tribal DDB, the world’s largest digital agency network, in Brand Management at Nestle and in Account Management at Modem Media, the world’s first digital agency. During his career he has helped some of the world’s largest brands navigate the evolving digital and social media space including AT&T, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, IBM, SunPower, Clorox, and (PRODUCT) RED.
Geoff’s experience has transcended the digital marketing arena, serving in multiple capacities of government and politics, working for Gov. Terry E. Branstad (R-IA), on the Presidential campaigns of President George H.W. Bush and Gov. Lamar Alexander, and for leading government relations and public affairs firms, Cassidy & Associates and Capitoline/MS&L.
Geoff earned his MBA with Honors from Thunderbird and a BSBA in International Business and Marketing from Georgetown University.
