Relevant experiences include management experience in development and award as Principal Investigator of multiple National Science Foundation projects; as a federal program manager for the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program (BTOP) of the NTIA at the US Department of Commerce; as well as managed real and virtual teams engaged in projects for research, education, and general applications.

Technical areas of expertise have included collaborative environments and applications for Research & Education communities. Plus engagement with iterative examination of how emerging media and communication channels can be adapted to provide richer access to better collaborative tools in real time and asynchronously as well as open access for research and education.

Communication experience and skills are varied, including public speaking, internet based video & webinar events, organized events and workshops, written articles on varied topics as well as proposals, organizedand curatd art exhibits, and served as guest editor for journals.
