GH Fence
The Greenhouse Fence Project was inspired by a group of UBC students who wanted to merge the ideas of sustainability and entrepreneurship together to develop social innovation. Thus, together as a team of talented and driven students, the vision is to go beyond concept and vision into rolling up our sleeves and making sustainable living a reality.
The idea is simple. It is to develop a completely self-sustaining vertical greenhouse that will be able to replace idle fence with beautiful, minimal resource-consuming gardens. It's an idea that will allow the health-savvy Vancouver resident living in 300 square feet of space to pick fresh tomatoes for their morning salad. It's the idea that will let a suburban family line their front yard with a wall of flowers blooming year round for the same cost and care of your standard wood fence.
