Roshan Ghimire

That one perfect photo- an image persuasive than 1000 words, but mysterious, yet defining shot with perfect meld of light, timing and a “wow” moment in it, is what Roshan lives for.

Originally from the plains of Nepal, his photographic journey started at an early age when he fell in love with images published in newspapers and magazines. His curiosity towards photography morphed into passion when he joined University of the District of Columbia and took photography classes.

For him, photography is a perception, a unique reflection of the photographer’s instinct and interpretation. He believes in creating his own version of allegorical appraisals of his understanding of the world and people. Being a story teller, he dreams of traveling around the world with a “bohemian” spirit, documenting and discovering parameters of joys, sorrows and pains of common people.

Roshan’s images have been exhibited and published nationally and internationally.
