Ghio Esteban

Musician, Teacher, and performer in the Philippines

Violin lessons for all levels! I'm a dedicated instructor with 8 years of experience, beginning at CASA San Miguel. Teaching students from age 6 to adult, beginner to advanced. I offer both individual and group instruction, focused on building strong fundamentals and fostering a lifelong appreciation for music. Beyond teaching, I'm an active performer of the UST Symphony Orchestra, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, Manila Philharmonic Orchestra, and Filharmonika. I'm also passionate about preparing aspiring orchestral musicians, and offer specialized training in orchestra excerpts. Let's make music together!

I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning music. My teaching incorporates a variety of methodologies, ensuring that each student receives instruction that resonates with them. Whether through traditional techniques, modern practices, or innovative exercises, I adapt my methods to suit different learning styles and preferences.

As a passionate collaborator, I thrive in various musical settings—be it duets, trios, quartets, or larger ensembles. This strength translates directly into my teaching approach, where I encourage students to engage in group playing from the very beginning. By emphasizing the importance of listening and adapting to others, I help my students develop essential skills for effective collaboration. This not only enhances their technical abilities but also fosters a sense of community and teamwork among peers.

“It is in our power to educate all the children of the world to become a little better as people, a little happier.” Shinichi Suzuki.
