George Houston was born in San Francisco and raised in Marin Country California before moving to Sonoma County in 1980. He is an avid disc golfer and is a founding member of Disc Golf Outlaws and a member of the United Flyers of Sonoma.

He is a certified Tournament Director with the Professional Disc Golf Association and the U.F.O.S. Tournament Director at The Steve Werner Memorial Disc Golf Course at Crane Creek Regional Park in Rohnert Park, California On Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons he can be found at the course running the Handicap Singles League and random doubles on behalf of the Crane Creek Disc Golf Activities.

He lives in Rohnert Park with his two cats, Orlando and Psycho Sid Vicious, and a variety of snakes.
