Luca is an award winning journalist working from the Southern Illinois Newsroom for the CBS/Fox affiliate KFVS-TV (Cape Girardeau, MO). Former Weekend Anchor/Producer for local quadropoly (NBC, Fox, CBS, ABC) WLIO-TV "Your News Now" in Lima, Ohio. Luca began anchoring at WLIO during his last semester of college, making him one of the youngest news anchors in commercial television in the U.S. Giacomo got his start in broadcast as an intern in with the CBS and Fox (WAWS/WTEV) affiliate "Action News Jacksonville," in Florida. He interned at FOX19 (WXIX) in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio in the summer of 2013. He later interned with the WGN Morning News, "Chicago's Very Own" #1 rated morning news show in the Fall of 2013. Luca holds a Bachelors Degree in Journalism with a Minor in Legal Studies from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Born and raised on the West Side of Cincinnati, Luca's journalism career began at Oak Hills High School. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper and was also a reporter, editor, and videographer for the student run T.V. station.
