Gianna DiTommaso
Amherst, Massachusetts
I am currently a sophomore in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. I am studying both Marketing and Hospitality and Tourism Management. I have had a passion for traveling as long as I can remember. Nothing beats the feeling of lying out on a beach, touring through an upbeat city or exploring new, unfamiliar places for the first time. Traveling has transformed the way I view cultures and their customs, allowing me to mature and embrace diversity. I feel blissful adventuring to new places and having the opportunity to connect with all kinds of people from different countries.
My traveling obsession started when I was in first grade when I went to Italy for the first time with my family. My mom is a masters swimmer, so I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world for her swimming meets. In addition, I am looking forward to going abroad next spring to Florence to continue to grow and expand my horizons.
