Maureen Giannone

I am an Emmy-winning, hip and driven producer enthusiastically looking to cross into the world of New Media, full-time. Currently, I am a Segment Producer at NBC's "1st Look", the national “Best of” lifestyle show airing after Saturday Night Live.

Though the main duties of my role at "1st Look" include field producing/shooting and pre/post-production supervision, I regularly produce content for our web platforms - shooting and writing content regarding the best of the nation's food/nightlife/fashion, celebrity interviews, and reoccurring articles "Producer Scouts" and "1st Look Loves," as well as assisting with the show’s social media strategy. It's been an incredible experience thus far.

My background includes both TV and online writing and producing on a vast variety of topics - from food, to fashion, nightlife, entertainment, and so on. And outside of work, my passions continue in the kitchen and on the road, with a love for cooking, dining, traveling, art-making, tweeting ...and whenever time frees up, beach-lounging.

With future work, I am interested in continuing in a creative role but eagerly looking for a position that shifts my focus from television to web production, post-production, web publishing, and social media.
