As a post-baccalaureate research trainee, I am currently gaining practical research experience in ion channel physiology using electrophysiological (patch-clamp; two-electrode voltage clamp), molecular & biochemical techniques (flow cytometry; cloning; site-directed mutagenesis; western blotting) and chemical biology (nonsense suppression with unnatural amino acids).
On the side, I dabble with R-Programming for Data Science applications, brush up on mandarin (普通话), and practice the violin.
